3 Full Days per week (9-5) with ability to flex up at other times, salary negotiable dependant on experience. FTE Salary £30k plus dependant on experience.

Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Legal Cashier to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions within a legal environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of the firm's financial records and supporting the overall financial operations.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately.
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions using accounting software such as Case Mangement Systems (LEAP etc.) Xero, or Sage.
Prepare and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
Liaise with clients and vendors regarding payment queries and discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal policies related to financial transactions.
Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, or Sage is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial record keeping.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
