About the Role:
The Sales Engineer supports Everfox’s efforts across the UK, NATO, and EMEA markets by serving as a subject matter expert on Everfox’s ultra‑secure, defense‑grade cybersecurity solutions. You will provide pre‑sales technical leadership, collaborate closely with Account Executives, and ensure successful customer pilots and technical evaluations.
This is a fully remote role based in the United Kingdom, requiring occasional international travel (typically once per quarter).
At Everfox, you will help mission‑driven customers address complex cybersecurity challenges through innovative cross‑domain, threat protection, and insider‑risk solutions. You will consult with technical and business stakeholders, articulate technically robust and mission‑appropriate solutions, and play a critical role in advancing strategic sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with prospective customers to position Everfox security solutions for success and shape project requirements.
- Manage the full technical sales process from initial discovery through proof‑of‑concept delivery and proposal development.
- Present the technical merits of Everfox’s offerings, deliver compelling demos and pilots, and skillfully handle technical objections.
- Configure and use Everfox security solutions to generate actionable results, collaborating with clients and Everfox engineering teams to ensure successful pilot outcomes.
- Provide technical support to sales teams through high‑quality presentations, rapid responses to technical inquiries, and contribution to sales strategies and tactics.
- Support GTM activities by attending events and conferences as required.
Key Knowledge and Skills
Excellent knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and technologies, including:
- Internet security and anti‑malware technologies
- Proxy technologies
- Windows, Linux, SIEM, networking, scripting
- Cloud, virtualized, and networked environments (VMWare, KVM, Hyper‑V)
- Web security, email security, secure data transfer and access solutions
- Enterprise networking and cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure
Key Experience and Skills
- Strong experience in a sales engineering or pre‑sales role supporting critical security solutions within government/defense markets.
- Eligible for security clearance; existing UK SC clearance is strongly preferred.
- Ability to collaborate within a small sales team to develop account strategies.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with customer technical stakeholders.
- Skilled in articulating product positioning and competitive differentiation to both technical and business audiences.
- Experience responding to RFIs/RFPs, including functional and technical elements.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of the sales cycle and pre‑sales activities.
- Experience working effectively with technical teams and end users.
- Resilience and strong task management; able to handle stressful situations while managing multiple priorities.
- Self‑starter with initiative, commercial acumen, and practical problem‑solving skills.
- Results‑driven, focusing on outcomes rather than output.
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, and partners.

A reasonable estimate of the on-target earnings ("OTE") for this role is between:
£86,300.00-126,900.00 GBP
The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to base salary and either bonus or commission, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including competitive annual leave, pension match, PMI, dental, health cash plan, income protection, in a hybrid work environment.
