As an Associate Environmental Field Technician, you will support inspections, testing, and diagnosis of buildings and their systems under normal operating conditions. You will collect environmental data, record observations, assist with sample handling, and contribute to professional reports that help clients address existing issues and prevent future risks.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out on site, solving problems, working with people, and developing technical expertise through real-world experience.

We are looking for someone with curiosity, reliability, professionalism, and a strong desire to learn. You do not need to be the finished article, but you should be motivated to build your technical knowledge and develop a career in environmental consultancy.
- Academic background in engineering, science, environmental studies, building services, or a related technical discipline, educated to college or degree level.
- Ability to follow technical direction from senior personnel and work effectively as part of a team.
- Professional approach when dealing with clients and handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical and environmental expertise.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A genuine interest in buildings, environmental conditions, technical investigation, and problem solving.

Total Rewards: We understand that rewards are an important consideration as you plan the next step in your career.Salary range varies by location and local market conditions. It is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and other factors. This position is eligible for an annual bonus with a target payout of 5% of base salary. You’ll also enjoy annual paid leave, access to our ULS University to support continuous learning and career development, two volunteering days each year to participate in community activities, and flexible working arrangements designed to help you balance work and life.
