General Labourer / Semi-Skilled Labourer
Geraghty Group is seeking a hardworking, reliable Labourer to join our growing team. We deliver a wide range of projects including extensions, refurbishments, and general building work.
If you take pride in a good day’s work, communicate well with customers and trades, and show up ready to get stuck in, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
You’ll support our trades and site teams with a variety of tasks, such as:
- Moving, lifting, and organising materials
- Assisting carpenters and other trades
- Keeping the site clean, tidy, and safe
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Using hand tools and power tools
- Stripping out properties before refurbishment
- Helping with general building work as required
Semi-skilled experience—such as basic plastering, brickwork, painting, tiling, drainage, or plumbing—is beneficial but not essential.
A positive attitude is just as important as experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Good basic English to communicate clearly with the team and customers
- Reliable timekeeping (7:30am start)
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Commitment to working safely
- Pride in maintaining a tidy, presentable site
- Previous construction experience preferred, not required
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- References required
