We’re looking for a reliable and professional Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Technician to join our small specialist team at Expert Carpet Cleaning Services.
Position/Role: Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Technician
Duration: Full time (45hours per week, Monday to Friday)
Salary: £29741.40 (+Commission)
What you’ll be doing
This position is a hands‑on role delivering a range of specialist cleaning services and offers an opportunity to work independently while delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. Cleaning experience is helpful but not required - full training is provided.
Duties to include:
- Travel to various client locations to perform carpet/upholstery/rug/curtain cleaning services.
- Operate professional cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assess carpets and recommend appropriate cleaning methods tailored to each job.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, with excellent attention to detail and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleaning equipment and keep the company vehicle clean and tidy.
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding the services provided and address any questions or concerns professionally.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including job reports and customer feedback forms
You’ll be travelling between sites across Oxfordshire/Berkshire and surrounding areas. A company van and all the required cleaning equipment will be provided.
What we’re looking for:
- Based in/around South Oxfordshire
- Full Clean UK driving licence – essential min 2years
- Minimum age 25 years old due to Fleet Insurance
- Professional, friendly and confident with customers
- Good physical fitness, as the role involves lifting equipment and working on various surfaces
- Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering outstanding service at all times
- Comfortable working alone
