Human Resources Advisor

Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00 am-5.00 pm - 37.5 hours per week.
Location: Cedar Care Head Office, Mortimer House, Clifton Down Road, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 4AE
Rate of Pay: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum (Depending on Experience and Qualifications)

You will be expected to contribute to the overall success of the HR agenda in delivering a proactive and customer-focused HR service across Cedar Care Homes by providing effective support, guidance and advice to managers and staff members on a wide variety of HR matters, such as employee relations, policy and process, recruitment and the delivery of key projects.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Experience interpreting policies, procedures and situations to identify pragmatic solutions/ recommendations.
Experience in advising and supporting managers on a range of employee relations matters to an appropriate conclusion.
Experience in dealing with matters confidentially and sensitively, with a sound knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and best practice.
Person Specifications:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel
- Good level of both written and spoken English
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Good working knowledge of current Employment Law and Human Resource Best Practice.
- Maintaining good time management in performing the tasks required and achieving task completion deadlines.
- Maintaining a good time keeping and attendance record
- Provide assistance and advice in a consistent, balanced and objective way, without favour or prejudice to any party.
- Producing notes of meetings in the prescribed format and on time.
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification as Associate Level CIPD qualification.
