The Curtain/Blind Installer will report to the Installations Manager.
The role:
- Install a variety of window treatments, including blinds, shades, and curtains, using appropriate tools and techniques in commercial residences and public buildings across the UK.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations.
- Perform minor electrical work related to motorised window treatments as needed.
- Conduct painting touch-ups post-installation to ensure a polished finish.
- Maintain an organised workspace and ensure all tools are accounted for after each job.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process, and ensure a timely resolution.

Your skills:
- Interest in carpentry or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment necessary for installations.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous for installing motorised window treatments.
- Ability to read instructions and measure for new blinds
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with both clients and team members.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods while performing installations.
- A valid driver's licence is essential for travel between job sites.

Permanent, full time role (part time applications will be considered, full days only)
Pay:
£30,000 - £35,000 pa
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 7 - 4:30
- No weekends
Experience and certifications required:
- Carpentry: 1 year
- Full driving licence
- Authorisation to work in the UK
