About the Role
We are a small, collaborative lighting design and environmental assessment team based in Bristol, working across a wide range of projects including commercial, residential, public realm, and infrastructure schemes. We are looking for a motivated graduate or junior professional to support our designers in delivering creative, compliant, and technically robust lighting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of lighting designs, layouts, and calculations using industry software (e.g. Dialux, Relux).
Support the production of reports, drawings, and technical documentation for planning and design stages.
Contribute to lighting impact assessments (e.g. external obtrusive light, ecology, dark skies).
Conduct site visits, surveys, and data collection.
Help coordinate with architects, engineers, and planning teams.
Maintain project records and assist with general project administration.

Requirements

Degree (or working towards) in lighting design, architecture, engineering, environmental design, or a related field.
Basic understanding of lighting principles and relevant standards/guidance (e.g. CIBSE, ILP).
Familiarity with CAD and/or lighting software (desirable but not essential).
Strong attention to detail and good written communication skills.
Proactive, organised, and willing to learn in a small team environment.
Full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential).
