We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Pattern Maker / Joiner to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Assist in creating detailed patterns and mould for casting our products Using a variety of tools, machines and materiels.
- Support the fabrication of patterns and components through grinding, milling, welding, and other hand tool operations
- Learn to operate plastics injection molding equipment and understand tooling requirements for different projects
- Participate in assembly processes, ensuring parts are correctly fitted and finished to quality standards
- Use hand tools and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to shape, cut, and assemble materials
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Support senior team members in quality checks and inspections of finished products to ensure precision
Experience
- No prior experience required; enthusiasm for learning new skills is essential
- Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in manufacturing processes is advantageous
- Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a plus but not mandatory—training will be provided
- Experience with hand tools, grinding, milling, welding or plastics injection molding is beneficial but not essential
- Strong attention to detail with good manual dexterity and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to learn about tooling, assembly techniques, and fabrication methods in a fast-paced environment
