Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the smooth operation of their designated section within the kitchen. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards
Oversee the daily operations of a specific section within the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or fish station
Ensure all food prepared meets safety and hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations
Assist in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes and seasonal specials
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work stations before, during, and after service
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and high-quality presentation
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste
Train junior staff members and provide guidance on food preparation techniques

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
Experience working in a restaurant setting or similar hospitality environment is highly desirable
Ability to demonstrate culinary creativity while adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
Serving skills are beneficial for understanding customer expectations and delivering exceptional service
