Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Convenience Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organisational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team within a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth store functioning and driving sales growth. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with supervisory experience and a passion for retail excellence.

Duties

Supervise daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards
Lead, motivate, and manage store staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
Oversee merchandising activities, including stock organisation and presentation optimisation
Manage inventory levels, organise stock replenishment, and conduct regular stock checks
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy
Implement promotional campaigns and sales initiatives to increase store revenue
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment
Maintain accurate administrative records related to sales, staff schedules, and stock management
Train new staff members on store procedures, customer service standards, and safety protocols

Skills

Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
Proven management experience within retail or convenience store settings
Strong team management skills with the ability to supervise staff efficiently
Excellent leadership qualities with the capacity to motivate and develop team members
Exceptional communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal interaction
Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively
Experience in merchandising, sales management, and promotional activities
Good time management skills to ensure smooth daily operations
Administrative experience for maintaining accurate records and reports
Ability to demonstrate professionalism, organisational prowess, and a proactive approach in a busy retail environment

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
