Salary: £15,434.33 - £16,379.68 Full Time Equivalent per annum

About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and resilient individual to join our IT team as an Apprentice. You will be delivering high-quality customer support by troubleshooting issues, providing expertise, supporting the wider IT Team.
This apprenticeship offers hands‑on experience in IT Support in a bustling College, supporting the development of core skills needed to protect digital systems and information. You will work closely with experienced IT professionals, gaining real‑world exposure to areas such as identifying cyber threats, responding to incidents, managing vulnerabilities, and supporting compliance with data protection and security requirements across teaching and learning systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing phone/remote support & assistance
- Excellent customer care
- Desktop Support
- Hardware Repairs
- Software Installation
- Projector, cabling, troubleshooting
- Assisting in projects and IT activities as required
To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:
- Evidence of commitment to professional development
- A good standard of Maths and English
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Background in IT
