Pay is above the National Minimum Wage, depending on experience.
Hospitality, bakery or deli experience is a bonus, but a great work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn are even more important.

Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of fresh deli and bakery items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Assist customers with selections, answer questions about products, and promote specials or upselling opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli and bakery areas, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment regularly
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to keep the section well-stocked and inviting for customers
- Support the team in creating appealing displays that enhance product visibility and sales potential
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a restaurant or retail food environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, managing inventory, and processing transactions accurately
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Kitchen or culinary experience that demonstrates comfort working with food products
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to upsell products naturally while providing excellent customer service
