Locators is a highly successful, privately owned Material Handling company, supplying market leading equipment from world leading brands including Toyota, Manitou and Combilift.
We are looking for a Customer Support Desk - Job Coordinator to play a pivotal role is our customer support department. You will be the central point of contact for customers and engineers, ensuring breakdowns, repairs, servicing and follow-up work are managed efficiently while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading by example, and driving operational excellence within a busy field service environment.
We're looking for someone who wants a part-time position that offers flexibility around their day-to-day commitments.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Working hours between 9:00am and 2:30pm
- Regular start and finish times within these hours
- 4 to 5 hours per day (20-25 hours per week)
This role could be ideal for someone returning to work, balancing family commitments, or seeking a part-time position with regular weekday hours.
What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of our Customer Support team, you will:
✅ Take ownership of customer breakdown and service calls, ensuring every interaction is handled professionally, courteously and efficiently.
✅ Maintain regular communication with customers, keeping them updated on engineer attendance and repair progress.
✅ Work closely with Field Service Engineers to plan and coordinate daily activities and future workloads.
✅ Manage Vehicle Off Road (VOR) cases, ensuring all internal procedures are completed promptly.
✅ Monitor outstanding jobs and follow up with engineers and subcontractors to ensure repairs are completed within agreed timescales.
✅ Ensure work is carried out in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 procedures.
