Videographer & Content Creator – At Your Leisure Job Overview
At Your Leisure is looking for a creative and confident Videographer & Content Creator to help us produce engaging video content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands what makes great social content – from quick, attention-grabbing Reels and TikToks to polished property tours, reviews and longer-form YouTube videos.
You’ll be responsible for the full content creation process, from capturing footage on location through to editing and delivering finished videos ready to publish.
The role will involve one day per week filming on location, primarily across the holiday parks and leisure businesses we work with, capturing a bank of content that can then be edited into a mixture of short-form and long-form videos.
We’re looking for someone who is creative, proactive and full of ideas – someone who can spot a great content opportunity, understands current social media trends and knows how to turn everyday moments into engaging videos.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Spend one day per week filming on location, capturing engaging video content across our parks, holiday homes, facilities, events and wider leisure businesses
- Plan, film and edit short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Shorts
- Create and edit long-form YouTube content, including holiday home tours, reviews, park showcases, interviews and lifestyle videos
- Take ownership of the full video production process, from initial idea and shot planning through to filming, editing and final delivery
- Turn filming days into a strong bank of content that can be used across multiple platforms
- Edit footage into polished, engaging videos that reflect the At Your Leisure brand and the individual brands we work with
- Add captions, graphics, music, transitions and other creative elements where appropriate
- Stay up to date with social media trends, formats and editing styles, identifying opportunities we can adapt for our own content
- Work with the wider marketing and sales team to develop video ideas around campaigns, new holiday homes, events and key marketing messages
- Film people confidently and help team members, owners and customers feel comfortable in front of the camera
- Organise and manage video footage so content can be easily accessed and repurposed
- Occasionally capture high-quality photography and still imagery alongside video content where required
- Maintain a consistent standard of filming and editing across all content
What We’re Looking For
- Experience creating and editing video content, with a portfolio or examples of previous work
- A strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube
- Experience creating both short-form social content and longer-form video
- Strong video editing skills using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar
- Confidence using cameras, microphones and other filming equipment
- A good eye for composition, lighting, sound and visual storytelling
- An understanding of what makes people stop scrolling and engage with content
- Ability to adapt one filming session into multiple pieces of content for different platforms
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of projects
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage footage, edits and deadlines
- A proactive approach – we want someone who will bring ideas to us, not simply wait for a filming brief
- Comfortable working with different people and directing contributors when needed
- An interest in social media, content creation and emerging video trends
