Brief Outline of Responsibilities:

Essential Requirements;

To undertake a range of administrative processes to support the management of students with SEND including but not limited to student support meetings, EHCP processes and Exam Access Arrangement's
To provide administrative support for the Additional Support Team at Bedford College
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organisational skills

Quals & Education

Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification
English and maths GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent

Vetting

Child and Workforce Enhanced DBS. A current and valid DBS under the Agency/on the Update Service. If Update Check, to provide the evidence of this check in addition to the DBS certificate linked to the service.
Complete set of references to cover the past 3 years (and last employment worked with children if this was prior to this).
RTW evidence.
Proof of Address
Confirmation of online search.
Confirmation of health check – placement is Fit to Work.
Confirmation of overseas check, if relevant. If not, to confirm N/A.
Teacher Prohibition check and confirmation clear.
