Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and organised Electrical Project Manager to oversee and coordinate electrical projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality electrical installations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex projects within a dynamic environment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Requirement & Qualifications:
- Qualifications: Must be fully qualified with City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) in inspection and testing.
- Certification: Gold JIB/ECS card holder.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, deadlines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Develop detailed project plans using Primavera P6, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Ensure project is delivered on-time and profitably.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all phases of the project.
- Offer Technical support and advice.
- Ensure personal development is continuing.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing electrical projects within a construction or engineering environment.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management capabilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate teams.
- Good understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to project challenges.
