Jetcut Ltd is an established and growing engineering company based in Glengarnock. We specialise in precision profile-cutting and engineering solutions, supplying high-quality components to customers across a wide range of industries.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team.
This is a varied, hands-on position within a busy engineering environment. As well as operating the press brake, you will be involved in the wider production, goods-in, dispatch and customer collection operations.

The Role
Your main responsibility will be the setting and operation of CNC press brake machinery (Amada HFE M2 2204), producing accurate, high-quality components to customer requirements.
The role will also include:
- Setting and operating CNC press brake machinery.
- Reading and working from engineering drawings.
- Selecting the correct material for each job.
- Loading and unloading materials using a forklift.
- Selecting and loading CNC programs.
- Carrying out quality checks and measurements.
- Ensuring components meet required dimensions and tolerances.
- Preparing finished orders for collection and delivery.
- Wrapping and securing pallets ready for dispatch.
- Helping with goods in and goods out.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Moving materials and finished components around the workshop.
- Dealing directly with customers and delivery drivers.
- Assisting customers with collections.
- Ensuring customer orders are correctly prepared and ready for collection or delivery.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Supporting the wider team with general workshop duties as required.
About You
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and become a reliable member of our team.
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience operating a CNC Press Brake.
- Valid Fork Lift Truck licence.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of workshop health and safety.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Good communication skills.
- Professional and friendly manner when dealing with customers and delivery drivers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to get involved across different areas of the business.
Desirable experience:
- CNC press brake setting experience.
- Sheet metal or fabrication experience.
- Previous engineering workshop experience.
- Experience operating other CNC machinery.
- Goods-in or goods-out experience.
- Experience preparing orders for dispatch.

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 2:30pm
