Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the perfect products to meet their needs. Your ability to communicate effectively and your keen sense of merchandising will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
Provide knowledgeable advice on merchandise, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising practices.
Handle transactions accurately using the till, ensuring basic math skills are applied for cash handling.
Manage time efficiently to meet customer needs and maintain store operations smoothly.
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

Strong communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly desirable.
Proven organisational skills with a keen eye for detail in merchandising displays.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
