Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.
- Monitor project expenditure and implement cost control measures to prevent overruns.
- Assist in procurement processes, including tendering and contract negotiations.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and verify that work aligns with financial plans.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to projects.
- Support the preparation of contractual documentation and variations as required.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure clarity on project costs and financial expectations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role within the construction industry, ideally at an intermediate or senior level.
- Strong understanding of cost control principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant industry software and tools for budgeting and cost management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise confidently with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- A recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics is preferred but not essential.

Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
