Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Solar Panel Installer Roofer to join our team. Duties
- Install solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops following safety standards and technical specifications
- Secure mounting brackets and frameworks using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as required
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar panels for maximum efficiency
- Assist with roof repairs or modifications necessary for solar panel installation
- Perform routine maintenance checks on installed systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Maintain a clean and organised work site, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in roofing, electrical work, or solar panel installation preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools,
- Knowledge of electrical systems and experience working with electrical components is highly desirable
- Physical fitness to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks in various weather conditions
- Relevant certifications or training in roofing, electrical work, or solar installation are advantageous
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to construction and electrical work
