Full job description

Job Overview

Note: Salary range is pro rata for 25 hours per week

If you have a genuine interest in helping our community focussed, friendly and motivated Council develop and deliver timely, quality and innovative services to the local community, this post is ideal.

You will ensure that all legal, statutory, financial and other governing provisions relating to the Council are observed, all Council meetings are properly administered and decisions effectively implemented whilst developing healthy working partnerships with the principle authority and contractors.

You will be suitably qualified (ideally holding or be willing to obtain the Certificate in Local Council Administration), highly motivated, enthusiastic and community focused, you will bring sound leadership, staff management, administrative, communication, IT, financial and organisational skills and be flexible in your approach and able to meet deadlines.

We offer excellent nationally based terms and conditions of employment for this post including an employer’s pension scheme. Training is available in all aspects of the job for the right candidate.

Pay: £31,022.00-£33,699.00 per year
