About This Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our UK Recruitment Team. The UK Recruitment Assistant is a key role within our UK Recruitment and Partnerships Department.
You will support in delivery of key projects and activities of the recruitment operational action plan, feeding into our overarching University UK recruitment strategy but focusing on activities related to the Faculty of Art, Business and Social Sciences (FABSS)
You will support in delivery of activities outlined in faculty and course level recruitment action plans, covering the ‘awareness to application’ stages of the prospect journey. The role also supports in responding to prospect enquiries related to the faculty and will work collaboratively with colleagues in conversion and WP roles to support activities for the faculty across the function. In a fast-paced, every changing sector, it is anticipated you will have a proactive and innovative approach to recruitment delivery at the University.
You will be required to deliver recruitment activities on and off campus, such as attendance at HE fairs and national exhibitions and work closely with schools and colleges. This will involve travel away from the University both within the West Midlands region and, occasionally, throughout the UK. It will also require you to be away from home on University business on several occasions each year, and to work during the evening and weekends.
We are seeking to employ an individual with an understanding of the HE student recruitment lifecycle for both post-18 and “non-traditional learners”. You will have experience of delivering promotional activity (including appropriate targeting, monitoring of KPIs), preferably within a classroom/training environment and using a CRM system with strong data inputting and accuracy.
You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build effective relationships, being an ambassador for the university.
