About the department and the role
The role will support clear, timely communication across the business and help coordinate internal and external events, briefings and engagement activity.
This role would suit someone organised, people-focused and keen to develop skills in communication, planning and stakeholder engagement.
A degree in a related field is essential along with previous experience in a communications role.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Create and develop content for communications internally and externally, including across appropriate social media platforms
- Coordinate, plan and assist the delivery of events and exhibitions, both internally and externally
- Collaborate with business units/departments to coordinate message and branding· Assist in the development of marketing strategies across the business
- Coordinate and collaborate with external agencies regarding the production and provision of media content
- Maintenance of consistent brand messaging across the business
- Identify and champion opportunities for community engagement to strengthen business perception and development of our corporate social responsibility
- Represent the Company at networking and industry events, including exhibition presence where required
- Manage the overall budgets for shows and exhibitions as required
- Coordinate the reviews of events and exhibitions to gauge their value
- Assist in researching market intelligence/knowledge to help inform decision-making
- Maintain awareness of legislation or guidance affecting published and future content creation
- Use analytical tools to measure performance
- Provide support for communication and employee engagement across the business
- Assist in the production of company newsletter
The role will collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and key stakeholders ensuring marketing and communication objectives align with sales strategies. A key element of the role involves delivering the planning and organisation of company exhibition attendance, both in the UK and overseas.
