Full job description

We are a friendly, customer-focused butcher's shop committed to providing high-quality fresh meat and excellent customer service. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cut, trim, and package meat products.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
Assist customers with product selection and provide excellent service.
Operate meat-cutting equipment safely.
Receive and store deliveries.
Keep displays well-stocked and attractively presented.
Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Working hours

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
7am-4pm
30 minutes lunch break

Requirements

Previous experience as a butcher or in food retail is preferred but not essential (training can be provided).
Good knife skills and attention to detail.
Friendly and professional attitude.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for manual handling tasks.
Knowledge of food hygiene regulations is an advantage.
