Sales, Events & Reservations Assistant (Part-Time)
Sudbury House Hotel
Approx. 15–20 hours per week | Flexible/negotiable hours, including some weekends

Sudbury House Hotel is a busy country house hotel hosting weddings, conferences, and private events. We are looking for an organised and reliable Sales, Events & Reservations Assistant to support our busy team.

This is a varied role combining administration, enquiries, reservations, and event coordination within a fast-paced hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be confident multitasking and working closely with different hotel departments to ensure excellent guest service and smooth event delivery.

Important: Applicants must have previous experience working in a hotel or similar hospitality environment. A good understanding of hotel operations, including Reception, Reservations, and Sales, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Responding to enquiries and assisting with bookings
Supporting the coordination of weddings, conferences, and events
Assisting with hotel reservations and guest communications
Supporting with group reservations and rooming lists
Preparing event documentation and client correspondence
Updating booking systems and maintaining accurate records
Providing administrative support to the Sales and Events team
Liaising with departments to ensure smooth event delivery
Assisting Reception and Reservations when required

Requirements

Previous hotel or hospitality experience (essential)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Confident using computer systems
Professional and friendly approach
Able to multitask and work in a busy environment
Flexible to work weekdays and some weekends
