About Us
The Kings Arms Hotel is a newly refurbished boutique hotel in the heart of Berwick-upon-Tweed, offering beautifully designed guest accommodation, exceptional service, and high standards throughout the property.
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Housekeeper to join our team. This is not an entry-level role – we are seeking someone with a proven background in luxury hotels who takes pride in delivering impeccable standards.
The Role
As an Experienced Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest bedrooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.
Duties include:
- Cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms to luxury hotel standards.
- Making beds and presenting rooms impeccably.
- Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing amenities.
- Maintaining public areas and back-of-house areas.
- Reporting maintenance issues and lost property.
- Ensuring all cleaning and health & safety procedures are followed.
- Working efficiently to meet daily room turnaround requirements.
Essential Requirements
✔ Previous housekeeping experience within a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment.
✔ Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work.
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
✔ Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
✔ Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
✔ High standards of personal presentation and professionalism.

Experience:
- Hotel Housekeeping: Minimum 2 years (required)
- Luxury Hotel Housekeeping: Preferred
