The HR Advisor plays a key role in creating a positive, inclusive and supportive working environment where staff feel valued, developed and empowered to deliver the very best outcomes for pupils.
As the School's HR specialist, you will be a trusted advisor to the Head Teacher, Senior Leadership Team and line managers, providing practical, people-centred advice across the full employee lifecycle. You will lead on recruitment, onboarding, employee wellbeing, engagement, employee relations, performance support and HR compliance, ensuring that our people practices reflect the School's values and commitment to safeguarding.
Working collaboratively across the School, you will help attract, retain and develop talented staff while ensuring employment practices remain legally compliant and aligned with best practice.
The successful candidate will take an active part in the school’s administration and responsible for the HR procedures throughout the School. In this role, duties and responsibilities will include staff recruitment, HR compliance such as SCR and employment law, supporting the School with Employee Relations as well as assisting with payroll and employment processes. The salary will be in the region of £28,000 for the part time role (£35-40k prorated) depending on qualifications and experience. There is a generous holiday allowance.
We are looking to appoint a well-qualified, experienced and discrete individual, someone who is friendly, dynamic and proactive, with excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise within a varied workload and manage a diverse range of requirements in a calm and efficient way. Previous experience of working in a school is desirable, previous HR experience is essential.
