Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated UPVC Window & Door Fabricator / Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fabricating UPVC windows and doors with precision and efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a supportive environment, contributing to high-quality product delivery. The ideal applicant will have a keen eye for detail, good mechanical aptitude, and experience working with hand and power tools.

Duties

Assemble UPVC window and door components according to technical specifications and drawings
Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and join materials
Use assembly jigs and fixtures to ensure accurate fabrication of products
Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to maintain high standards
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
Assist in loading finished products onto transport or storage areas as required
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently

Qualifications

Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing environments is preferred, especially warehouse experience
Mechanical knowledge or aptitude is highly advantageous
Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and saws
Experience with power tools used in fabrication or assembly tasks
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical instructions accurately
Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a workshop setting
