The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Rural Surveyor to join our team on either a full or part time basis. This is an excellent role for a newly qualified surveyor through to around 5 years’ PQE looking to develop their career within a supportive, close-knit team.

You will be involved in a broad range of rural professional work across East Yorkshire and the surrounding area, including:

Serving our existing client base in a range of rural estate and property management matters.
Overseeing the sales and lettings of farms and agricultural land.
Managing estates comprising of agricultural and residential properties.
Providing business management, investment and development advice.
Providing advice on farming incentive and compensation schemes.
Conducting land and property valuations for loan security, taxation and investment purposes.
Recommending strategies for land management and exploring diversification opportunities.
Assisting in providing expert advice to clients.
Supporting with utility, infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
General rural consultancy.

The role offers the chance to build strong client relationships and take on increasing responsibility as your experience develops.

What We’re Looking For

MRICS or ARICS qualified (or recently qualified)
Degree-qualified in Rural Surveying or a related discipline
Able to manage a busy and varied caseload with minimal supervision
Commercially aware with a genuine interest in the rural property sector
Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
Proactive, organised, and keen to develop professionally
Full UK driving licence
