Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Duty Manager/Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with management experience and a passion for hospitality to contribute to a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the team to ensure smooth operations.
Provide exceptional guest services, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Support staff in delivering high-quality hospitality experiences, including handling guest enquiries and complaints.
Assist in training and mentoring new team members to uphold service standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all areas of the establishment.
Monitor operational procedures and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with management to implement policies and procedures effectively.
Oversee cash handling, reservations, and other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

Proven management experience within the hospitality industry or similar environment.
Strong understanding of guest services principles and practices.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of staff members.
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as necessary.
A professional attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences.
