Full job description

As a Business Development Manager Intern, you will work closely with the management and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities, generate qualified leads, build relationships with prospective clients and support the sales process from initial contact through to conversion.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop practical experience in business development, B2B sales, digital marketing and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

Research and identify potential B2B clients and new market opportunities.
Generate new business leads through LinkedIn, email, telephone, networking and other channels.
Build and maintain a prospect database/CRM.
Contact prospective clients and introduce Premiea's digital marketing services.
Qualify leads and understand prospective clients' business challenges.
Arrange discovery calls and meetings with potential clients.
Support the preparation of proposals, presentations and quotations.
Follow up with prospects and maintain regular communication.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Research competitors, industries and emerging market opportunities.
Work with the digital marketing team to understand client requirements and recommend suitable services.
Support client onboarding and handover once a prospect becomes a customer.
Track sales activities, leads, meetings and conversions.
Prepare regular business development and pipeline reports.
Contribute ideas for new lead-generation campaigns and business development strategies.
Stay informed about digital marketing trends, technologies and industry developments.

Skills & Requirements

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly motivated and ambitious.
Confident communicating with businesses and decision-makers.
Interested in sales, business development and digital marketing.
Comfortable using LinkedIn, email and online research tools.
Able to communicate professionally in written and spoken English.
Organised and able to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups.
Proactive, self-motivated and willing to learn.
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
Target-driven and commercially aware.
Confident using Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Interested in learning CRM, sales and digital marketing tools.

Previous sales or digital marketing experience is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from graduates, students and candidates looking to build practical experience in business development.

This role would suit a graduate, recent graduate, university student or aspiring sales/business development professional who wants to gain hands-on experience rather than simply complete a theoretical internship.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys speaking with people, finding opportunities, understanding business problems and turning conversations into potential commercial relationships.
