We are seeking a passionate and personable Fragrance Consultant to join our retail team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, offering expert advice on fragrances, and creating a welcoming shopping environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen interest in perfumes and scents, and the ability to engage with diverse clientele. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desirable to cater to our international customer base. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail and sales skills within a dynamic and stylish setting.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting fragrances tailored to their preferences and needs
Provide expert advice on scent profiles, usage, and product features
Upsell products effectively while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction
Manage social media platforms by creating engaging content and promoting products to increase brand awareness
Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
Keep track of stock levels, organise inventory, and assist with replenishment as needed
Handle customer queries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy using excellent phone etiquette
Support promotional events and participate in store activities to enhance customer experience
Utilise organisational skills to manage appointments, schedules, and daily tasks efficiently

Skills

Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly advantageous for engaging with diverse customers
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on friendly and professional interaction
Excellent organisational skills for maintaining displays and managing stock levels
Ability to upsell products tactfully while prioritising customer needs
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Effective time management to balance multiple responsibilities throughout the shift
Knowledge of merchandising principles to create appealing product presentations
