KierBAM are a Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall. We are currently delivering a redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth and we are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be working in a live MOD facility, supporting the successful coordination and management of vehicle movements and logistics operations across the site.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll be working within the Royal Dockyard team, supporting them in delivering efficient logistics management across the project. Your day to day will include:
- Managing vehicle booking and approval through the Vehicle Management System (VMS), ensuring compliance with access restrictions and timely delivery
- Producing and presenting reports and data related to the VMS, its effectiveness and compliance
- Coordinating and communicating with delivery drivers, site teams and gate management to ensure smooth delivery operations
- Liaising with supply chain partners and client teams on logistics and traffic matters
- Identifying opportunities for efficiencies on vehicle movements and managing movements within the site to final delivery

- You have experience in successful logistics management and administration
- You possess thorough knowledge of logistics and driver procedures and working methods
- You can communicate effectively at all levels and build strong working relationships
- You are confident using Microsoft Office software to compile and present information
- You hold a CSCS Card (Blue or Green)
