We are looking for an experienced and motivated Plumber & Gas Engineer to join our expanding business, covering Plymouth and the surrounding areas. If you're a skilled engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a varied role working primarily in domestic properties, carrying out plumbing, heating, boiler servicing, repairs, and installations. Every day is different, and you'll be supported by a friendly team that values professionalism, reliability, and quality workmanship.
What You'll Be Doing
- Servicing, repairing, and installing gas boilers and central heating systems.
- Carrying out domestic plumbing repairs and installations.
- Completing landlord gas safety inspections (CP12s).
- Diagnosing faults and providing effective repair solutions.
- Installing and replacing radiators, cylinders, pipework, taps, toilets, and showers.
- Responding to planned maintenance and occasional emergency call-outs.
- Completing all required paperwork accurately using digital job management systems.
- Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a professional approach at all times.
- Ensuring all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and current health and safety standards.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Current Gas Safe Registration.
- ACS Gas Qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1 or equivalent).
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a domestic plumbing and heating role.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
Desirable
- Unvented Hot Water Qualification (G3).
- Experience installing boilers and full central heating systems.
- LPG or Oil qualifications.
- Experience with renewable heating technologies, including heat pumps.
- Water Regulations certification.
