Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing food production, ensuring exceptional service standards, and maintaining high levels of food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for culinary excellence, team leadership, and customer satisfaction. The ideal applicant will possess strong management skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a comprehensive understanding of food preparation and hospitality operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food and beverage service, ensuring efficient operation and high standards of quality.
Manage kitchen and front-of-house teams, providing supervision, training, and support to foster a collaborative work environment.
Coordinate food production processes, including cooking, food preparation, and presentation to meet customer expectations.
Supervise daily service activities, including serving customers, managing reservations, and handling special events or functions.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas of the establishment.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock control to minimise waste.
Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating innovative dishes while maintaining operational efficiency.
Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Implement operational policies and procedures to optimise workflow and productivity.

Experience

Proven management experience within the food service or hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Extensive background in food production, cooking, serving, and food preparation.
Demonstrable supervisory experience leading kitchen or front-of-house teams.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in culinary operations.
Experience in hospitality management roles with a focus on leadership and team development.
Familiarity with barista experience or beverage service is advantageous but not essential.
A background in culinary arts or kitchen experience is highly desirable to support operational excellence.
