Grade: Locum (ST1/ST2)
Contract Type: Locum
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing / As Required

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Locum Doctor at ST1/ST2 level to join our clinical team within the NHS Trust. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support ward and acute services, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across a range of specialties.

This is an excellent opportunity for doctors seeking immediate work within a supportive NHS environment.

Essential Requirements

GMC Registration with a licence to practise.
Previous NHS clinical experience at Foundation Year 2, SHO, ST1, or ST2 level.
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification (mandatory).
Valid Right to Work in the UK.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Available to start ASAP.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and manage patients under consultant supervision.
Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and emergency admissions as required.
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
Liaise effectively with nursing staff, allied health professionals, and senior clinicians.
Participate in handovers and multidisciplinary meetings.
Ensure compliance with NHS policies, clinical governance, and patient safety standards.
