The Role:

We’re seeking an ambitious Senior Catering Assistant to join our team and become a driving force behind an exceptional school catering facility! This isn’t just cooking; it’s a chance to use your flair and originality to elevate the entire dining experience and help establish this as one of the best school catering offerings in the region!

You’ll be a key player, assisting with both the operational excellence and managing the exceptional customer service of your kitchen.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the preparation of our delicious menu, managing stock, and leading the team.
Supervise, coach, train and inspire your team of catering assistants to deliver excellence every day.
Guarantee all standards, systems and essential legislation are met

About You

We’re looking for a passionate, hands-on Senior Catering Assistant ready to take ownership of the kitchen’s day-to-day success. If you’re a dynamic catering assistant looking to step up, you’ll need:

Hands-On Excellence: You have fantastic craft skills with a genuine commitment to using fresh ingredients to deliver exceptional quality food.
Motivational Leader: Proven catering assistant experience—you will be able to coach, motivate, and inspire to develop a happy, high-performing team.
Safety Focus: Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices.
