Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join a well-established and busy conveyancing team based in Redditch, Worcestershire. This is a permanent, full-time, office-based job offering a competitive salary dependent on experience, alongside a supportive and collaborative working environment. About the Job Role
This Residential Conveyancing Legal Assistant job in Redditch, Worcestershire offers the opportunity to support fee earners with a varied residential property caseload, ensuring the smooth progression of transactions from instruction through to completion.
You will be working closely with an experienced conveyancing team in Redditch, providing essential administrative and client support within a fast-paced and client-focused environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to build or further their career in residential conveyancing within a stable and reputable legal practice.
- Providing direct support to residential conveyancing fee earners
- Assisting with a varied caseload including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Preparing and drafting standard conveyancing documents
- Handling file opening, compliance and onboarding procedures
- Carrying out ID checks, AML compliance and source of funds verification
- Ordering and reviewing property searches
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and lenders
- Progressing transactions and chasing outstanding documentation
- Updating case management systems accurately and efficiently
- Preparing completion statements and assisting with financial transactions
- Ensuring all files are maintained in line with regulatory and firm requirements
- Delivering excellent client care throughout the conveyancing process
- Providing general administrative support to the wider conveyancing team
Applications are welcomed from candidates with experience in residential conveyancing support, legal administration, or property-based roles. You may be a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or an experienced administrator with conveyancing experience.
You will be based in Redditch, Worcestershire and able to commit to an office-based role.
