Role Purpose
The Export Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating and administering all export logistics activities to ensure compliant, cost-effective and on-time delivery of finished goods to international customers. The role also supports import logistics when required and provides operational cover for the Domestic Logistics Coordinator during periods of absence or increased workload.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate all export shipments by road, sea and air.
· Prepare and verify export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and shipping instructions.
· Ensure compliance with customs, export controls, Incoterms and customer/country requirements.
· Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, customers and internal departments.
· Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues.
· Arrange import shipments and customs clearance when required.
· Maintain accurate ERP and logistics records.
· Monitor freight costs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
· Provide cover for the Domestic Logistics Coordinator, including domestic transport planning and customer deliveries.
· Support inventory, customer service and production teams to achieve OTIF delivery.
Skills & Experience
· Experience in export logistics within manufacturing.
· Knowledge of customs procedures, Incoterms and international shipping documentation.
· Strong organisational and communication skills.
· Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
· Ability to prioritise and work accurately under pressure.
Qualifications
· Relevant logistics, supply chain or business qualification desirable.
· Training in customs/export compliance advantageous.

Pay: £32,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
