Quotations Administrator – Facilities Maintenance

Company: ELITE Building Support Ltd
Location: Unit3 Sienna Trading Estate, 65 White Hart Avenue, SE28 0GW
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
Salary: £31,000–£33,000 per annum, depending on experience

Salary review following successful completion of the six-month probationary period.

About the company

ELITE Building Support Ltd is an established and growing facilities maintenance and building services company that has been successfully trading for over 10 years. We provide planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, and small-project services to commercial clients. As part of our continued growth, the company has recently invested in new specialist machinery and staff training to expand into the manufacture and production of fire doors.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Quotations Administrator to join our office team on a permanent basis. This is a long-term position with training and the opportunity to develop a career within the business.

Main responsibilities

Preparing professional quotations for maintenance and small-project works.
Requesting prices for materials from suppliers.
Obtaining and reviewing subcontractor quotations.
Calculating labour, materials and other job costs.
Entering quotations and job information accurately into company systems.
Following up outstanding prices and information.
Sending completed quotations to clients.
Maintaining quotation records and tracking approvals.
Communicating with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors and clients.
Assisting the management and operations teams with general administration.

Skills and experience

Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage several quotations and deadlines simultaneously.
Professional telephone and email communication.
Ability to learn new systems and procedures.
A degree or equivalent qualification in Business Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, would be advantageous.
Previous experience in administration, quotations, estimating, construction or facilities management would be helpful but is not essential, as training will be provided.
Romanian language skills are highly desirable because the position may involve communicating with Romanian-speaking engineers and operatives.

Suitable candidates

The successful candidate must be able to commute reliably to the office and work the full office schedule from Monday to Friday.
