You will be joining an IQIPS accredited Audiology service, where you will be expected to provide high‑quality care to patients attending Audiology and/or ENT services.
You will be required to undertake routine diagnostic assessment of adult patients (and children as required), fit and maintain NHS hearing aids, and participate in all routine clinical duties within the department.
You will also support key operational responsibilities, including assisting with the coordination of equipment calibration and maintenance to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
You will be expected to contribute to the day‑to‑day running of the department and support service development where appropriate.
You will participate in the supervision and support of BSc students and junior staff, under the guidance of the Team Leader.
You will work with adults and children (where required), planning and delivering diagnostic testing and rehabilitation programmes tailored to patient needs.
You will plan and manage your own caseload, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
You will contribute to data collection, audit activity, and service improvement initiatives within the department.

You will work with patients and their families, using effective communication skills to deliver person‑centred care and support positive clinical outcomes.
You will develop a specialist interest area and contribute to the ongoing development of that area within the service.
You will plan and manage your own caseload of patients, ensuring timely assessment, intervention, and follow‑up.
You will contribute to audit, data collection, and service improvement initiatives within the department.
You will work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team, including ENT colleagues, to support integrated patient care.
