Orthodontic Therapist - Aura Dental Clinic
About the Role
Aura Dental Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic and patient-focused Orthodontic Therapist to join our growing orthodontic team. This role is primarily focused on clear aligner treatment, with opportunities to assist in fixed orthodontic care under the prescription of our orthodontists.
You will be working within a modern, fully digital workflow, supported by experienced clinicians, trained orthodontic nurses, and a dedicated treatment coordination team. Patients are pre-booked into your diary, allowing you to focus entirely on delivering outstanding clinical care.
Responsibilities
- Carry out clear aligner consultations within your scope of practice.
- Fit and remove orthodontic attachments.
- Deliver aligners and provide patient instructions.
- Carry out routine aligner review appointments.
- Debond attachments at the completion of treatment.
- Fit and adjust retainers.
- Assist with fixed orthodontic treatment under prescription, including procedures within the scope of an Orthodontic Therapist.
- Monitor treatment progress and escalate concerns to the prescribing clinician when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical records.
- Work closely with clinicians, nurses and the treatment coordination team to provide an exceptional patient experience.

Essential Requirements
- GDC registered Orthodontic Therapist.
- Valid indemnity cover.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Confident working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for delivering outstanding orthodontic outcomes.
