Joining us as an Assistant Accountant means you will be working closely with the rest of the accounts team and with the departmental managers to assist in the production of the management accounts. It is crucial that you demonstrate our People First values through regular communication, going the extra mile, and ensuring the customer’s experience at Perrys is as smooth as possible.

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity available for an individual within our regional accounts office. With this role you will be expected to cover a wide range of tasks to support the production of timely management accounts. The duties of the role include completing prepayments, accruals, and standard journals; processing service cost of sales and statistical data; completing the turnover journal for the logistics department; processing the rental department turnover; assisting with credit controlling duties and the completion of the manufacturer composites.

Previous accounts experience is essential with motor industry experience being beneficial.

About you:

You will have good communication skills with the ability to listen to our customers’ needs and take pride in engaging with people and with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
Be able to work to tight deadlines with a keen eye for detail.
Care passionately and commit to doing the right thing for our customers, treating them fairly.
