Painter / Prepper - Birmingham (Twilight Shift)

We're looking for an experienced Painter / Prepper to join our growing team in Birmingham on a twilight shift pattern of 11:30am - 9:00pm (30-minute lunch break). This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a later start while working as part of a high-performing bodyshop team.

Preparing vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking, priming, and filler work

Mixing and applying paint to manufacturer standards

Carrying out colour matching and blending to achieve a flawless finish

Identifying and correcting paint defects where required

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Working closely with colleagues to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards

Proven experience as a Vehicle Painter, Paint Sprayer, Prepper, or in a similar role

Excellent preparation, colour-matching, and finishing skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Relevant qualifications (ATA, NVQ, IMI, or equivalent) - desirable but not essential

A proactive, team-focused approach

Full UK Driving Licence preferred
