Are you an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher looking for an exciting Year 5 opportunity in a supportive and inclusive school?

We are working with a welcoming primary school in Slough to recruit an inspiring Year 5 Class Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a motivated Key Stage 2 class within a school that places children at the heart of everything it does and is committed to helping every pupil thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The Role

As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire curiosity, confidence and a love of learning. You’ll create a positive classroom environment where all pupils feel challenged, supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Working alongside a collaborative Key Stage 2 team, you’ll have access to high-quality planning, shared resources and ongoing professional development, allowing you to focus on delivering outstanding teaching and learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Creating an inclusive classroom where every child can succeed.
Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Supporting pupils’ personal, social and emotional development.
Contributing to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and school events.
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and attendance.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching within a UK primary school (or be an ECT completing your induction).
A secure understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
A positive, reflective and collaborative approach to teaching.
