Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for someone to join our established local business delivering and installing kitchen appliances in the local area (washing machines / dishwashers / fridges etc. both freestanding and built in appliances) normally in a team of 2.

The role will also involve warehouse duties, loading and unloading of goods and orders in.

This is a customer-facing role where you will represent David Wood Domestic Appliances in people’s homes, so a friendly and professional attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

Safely deliver and install new kitchen appliances to customers homes according to manufacturer specifications , including connecting water, electrical, and integrated appliance door furniture where needed.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features and operational instructions clearly.
Assist with the loading and unloading of appliances, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
Assisting with goods in and warehouse.
The job involves heavy lifting, so you must be physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting.

Experience

Proven experience in appliance installation or related fields.
Full driving license essential.
Good practical knowledge with a keen eye for detail & problem solving.
Knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical and basic kitchen fitting is advantageous. Background in similar trades will be considered beneficial.
References on request.

Pay: From £13.50 per hour
