Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. The successful candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be comfortable working with a range of hand and power tools. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify faults or issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as brake replacements, engine diagnostics, and tyre fitting
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics using specialised equipment
- Carry out heavy lifting when required, including moving parts or components during repairs
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts utilised
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe at all times
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with a good understanding of vehicle systems
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools in an automotive setting is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Prior experience in vehicle repair or maintenance is advantageous but not essential for entry-level roles or internships
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Pay: £32,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
