About the job
- Act as the first point of contact for clients and operatives via phone, email, and portals.
- Log, schedule, and manage reactive and planned works using our CAFM system.
- Coordinate job bookings and site visits, ensuring efficient communication across teams.
- Provide clear updates to customers, managing expectations and resolving escalations.
- Maintain accurate records of jobs, costs, and key data using spreadsheets and CRM tools.
- Handle scheduling conflicts and last-minute changes with professionalism.
- Raise purchase orders, source materials, and track quotes and variations.
- Support the finance team by logging completed works and preparing invoices.
- Manage minor customer complaints and contribute to continuous improvement.
What you will need to successful
- 1–2 years in a service desk, helpdesk, or coordination role.
- Experience using insurance portals and a familiarity with xactanalysis and cotality
- Excellent communication, strong organisational ability, and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), CRM systems, and client portals.
- Calm, customer-focused, and proactive with a “right first time” attitude.
