Overview
We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our dynamic beauty team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for beauty and wellness, with expertise in various nail treatments and a flair for providing exceptional service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant environment where creativity and customer satisfaction are highly valued. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and specialised treatments such as gel nails and nail art. Experience with management, social media management, and customer service will be advantageous in promoting our brand and engaging with clients effectively. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, upselling additional services, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
Provide personalised consultations to recommend suitable treatments and colours based on client preferences
Maintain cleanliness and sterilisation of all tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations
Manage appointment bookings efficiently at the front desk, ensuring smooth daily operations
Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client queries professionally
Upsell additional services offered in the salon
Assist with social media management by posting updates, promotions, and engaging content to attract new clients
Support management with administrative tasks as needed, including stock control and maintaining client records
Stay current with industry trends in nail art, techniques, and products to continually improve skills

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within the beauty industry
Certification or recognised training in nail technology is preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Ability to work flexibly within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively
Organised with good time-management skills to handle appointments efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of quality
